BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) -- Two people found dead in their burned home in Wagoner County have been identified. The state Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa said the bodies of 67-year-old Virginia Carroll Overcast and 50-year-old Cecil Lee Overcast were found in the home near Fair Oaks.
Firefighters from Tulsa, Broken Arrow and the volunteer Rolling Hills Fire Department said the home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.
Broken Arrow Fire Marshall Dale Brooks said three possible causes of the fire were found in the living room. He said there may have been shorts in the electrical wiring, a faulty fireplace or the fire could've been started by a cigarette.
Investigators said they found no smoke alarms in the home.
