Funeral Services Set For Slain Marine

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Funeral services will be held Monday for an Oklahoma Marine killed in Iraq when the vehicle he was riding in hit a roadside bomb. Lance Corporal Trevor Roberts died March 24th, just 12 days before he was scheduled to return home.

The service will be at 10 a.m. at Eagle Heights Church in Oklahoma City, followed by burial with full military honors at Heritage Park Cemetery.

The 21-year-old Westmoore High School graduate was killed while conducting combat operations in Anbar province in western Iraq.

He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division at Oklahoma City.
