ORU's Green Selected For All-Star Game

ATLANTA (AP) -- Caleb Green of Oral Roberts is selected to play in the annual National Association of Basketball Coaches' all-star game. Green is one of 21 players chosen to play in the NABC event on Friday in Atlanta. He will play for a team coached by Louisiana State coach John Brady.

Other top seniors scheduled to play in the game include Aaron Brooks of Oregon, D.J. Strawberry of Maryland, Jamaal Tatum of Southern Illinois, Cartier Martin of Kansas State and Jarrius Jackson of Texas Tech.

Green won his third straight Mid-Continent Conference player of the year award this season and led ORU to its second straight NCAA tournament bid.

He averaged 20.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season for the Golden Eagles.
