TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Bobby Murcer's latest MRI exam showed his brain tumor has not grown.

The New York Yankees say Tuesday that the broadcaster and Oklahoma City native had the scan last week in Texas, and he was to have his first vaccine shot Tuesday as part of a clinical trial.

The Yankees say Murcer is feeling, quote ``terrific'' and that he's excited to take part in the clinical trial. The team says the vaccine shots will be administered once a month for the foreseeable future.

Murcer, who had surgery in December, hopes to resume broadcasting for the Yankees' YES network later this year.
