What started as a routine traffic stop ends in a drug bust early Monday morning. Around 5 a.m. a police officer pulled a car over at Third and Peoria. A records check showed the driver had several outstanding traffic warrants and was taken to the Tulsa County jail.
The police officer smelled drugs, and found a passenger sitting on eight small bags of marijuana. The passenger was arrested as well. A third person was released.
Tulsa Police are still investigating.
