VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) _ Former Oklahoma signee Scottie Reynolds has decided to return to return for his sophomore season at Villanova and will not enter the NBA draft.
The Big East rookie of the year averaged nearly 15 points and 4-assists a game this season.
Coach Jay Wright says Reynolds has high aspirations for both his academic and playing careers, and came to his decision after considering both.
Reynolds had said earlier this week he hadn't considered entering the draft.
A McDonald's All-American, Reynolds originally signed with Oklahoma out of high school. After Kelvin Sampson ended his run as Oklahoma's coach, Reynolds instead decided to attend Villanova.
