He's been greeting Oklahoman's for over 30 years with his familiar "Howdy neighbors," now Ron Hays has been inducted into the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Hays is the most respected radio farm director in the state of Oklahoma. Farmers, ranchers and others interested in agriculture have grown to depend on his expertise. The agricultural programming that Hays has designed over the years has been considered some of the best found anywhere in the United States. Over his career he's been Oklahoma's premier radio farm broadcaster with the Oklahoma News Network, Oklahoma Agrinet, and now with the Radio Oklahoma Network, where he serves as Farm Services Director.

Ron Hays is a past president of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters, he has been honored by both the industry of agriculture as well as his peers within the farm broadcast community. Among his many awards Hays has been named the National Farm Broadcaster of the Year, and has won the prestigious Oscars in Agriculture three times.

Hays' reports can be heard daily on more than 30 Radio Oklahoma Network affiliates across the state, including KRVT 1270 AM and KXBL 99.5 FM in Tulsa.
