A man wanted in connection with Tulsa’s 16th murder has surrendered. David Anderson turned himself into authorities on Wednesday, said police. He's being held in the Tulsa County Jail on a first-degree murder complaint.

Anderson is a suspect in the murder of his brother, 23-year-old Joshua Anderson. He was fatally shot twice in the chest after an apparent argument with David, said police.

The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home near 6200 S. 31st W. Avenue. The mother of the men was in the house at the time of the shooting, said police. She was not hurt.

The Anderson’s have a history with the Tulsa Police Department, authorities say they’ve been called to the home before for arguments between the brothers.
