HENNESSEY, Okla. (AP) _ A farmer died after he was run over by a tractor and dragged about 300 feet, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Joe Charles Sedlak, 82, was found dead Monday evening about 10 miles east of Hennessey and three miles south of Oklahoma 51, officers said.

He was apparently working the ground with the tractor when the accident happened.
