ENID, Okla. (AP) An Enid man is being charged with felony child abuse and assault and battery after telling police he slapped his girlfriend and their 4-month-old daughter.

Jerry Anjerok is being held in the Garfield County Jail on $100,000 bond. Police say both the child and the woman had marks on their face and Anjerok admitted he had slapped both.

He faces up to life in prison if convicted on the felony child abuse charge.
