A Tulsa teacher has been honored by a national organization. Physics teacher Susan Brigge at Booker T Washington High School is the Siemens National Advanced Placement Teacher of the Year.
Bigge will receive a $1,000 award. She joins two students from the Oklahoma School of Science and Math in being recognized as top performers on the Advanced Placement science and math tests.
Students Sarah Howell and Steven Zhang were among 81 students honored nationwide by the Siemens Foundation. Each student will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
