OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A bill to create the Oklahoma Bioenergy Center to research and develop biofuels is now heading to the state Senate.

The Senate Energy Committee Thursday approved the bill which is supported by Governor Brad Henry.

The proposal calls for Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma and the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Ardmore to work together on biofuel research.
