NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Former Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson is hoping to solidify his spot in the NFL draft when he works out at the NFL Combine this week in Indianapolis.

The Combine begins Thursday and Peterson is scheduled to work out on Sunday.

He says his goal is to run the 40-yard dash in about 4.3 seconds and everything else will take care of itself.

Some draft analysts have Peterson going as high as the number 4 pick in the draft, which is held by the Cleveland Browns.
