IRVING, Texas (AP) The Big 12 Conference names Oklahoma freshman Jenna Plumley as the league's women's basketball rookie of the week on Monday.

Plumley is a 5â€™4 point guard from Red Rock who played in high school for small-school power Frontier. She made her first two career starts for OU last week, leading the Sooners to wins over Texas and Texas Tech.

Plumley had 11 points, 8-assists, 5-steals and 4-rebounds against Texas, and against Texas Tech, she went 6-8 from 3-point range and scored 22 points in a 70-67 win.
