NORMAN, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma Sooners wrestling team gets a much-needed upset win over Hofstra.

The Sooners beat the Pride Saturday night, 21-13, at the Howard McCasland Field House in Norman.

With the win, the Sooners improved to 10-7 overall. OU remains 0-5 in the Big 12.

It was the Sooners' first win since defeating Arizona State, 31-9 on February 2nd.

It is the team's first win over a ranked opponent since the Lone Star Duals when Oklahoma defeated Navy, 30-9.

The Sooners next travel to East Lansing, Michigan, on Friday to close out the regular season against the Michigan State Spartans.
