LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) _ The Big 12 is publicly reprimanding Texas Tech coach Bob Knight.

The reprimand is for a comment Knight made about officiating in Tech's recent double overtime loss at Oklahoma State.

In brief postgame comments to reporters after the 93-to-91 loss last Saturday Knight said a call on a charge was ``horrendous'' and ``maybe as bad a call as I've ever seen.''

The call came near the end of the first overtime.

Big 12 spokesman Rob Carolla says it's ``not often'' the conference issues public reprimands in a season.

Knight had no comment on the reprimand.
