TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Moses Ehambe scored 13 points in the final 12 minutes to help Oral Roberts outlast Missouri-Kansas City 74-68 in a Mid-Continent Conference game.
Ehambe scored his first five points during a 10-and-oh run midway through the second half to boost Oral Roberts to a 49-36 lead Thursday night.
UMKC didn't cut its deficit to less than 10 points until 2:27 remained.
Caleb Green had 20 points and 13 rebounds to help the Golden Eagles, who improve to 17-and-8 and 9-and-1 in the conference.
Quinton Day paced the Kangaroos with 19 of his game-high 25 points in the second half. Dee Ayuba had 18 points for UMKC, which fell to 8-and-17 and 3-and-6.
In the second half, ORU built a 58-40 lead with 4:32 left before UMKC rallied with a 7-and-0 run.
Day helped UMKC reduce the ORU lead to 73-68 with six seconds left, but they would get no closer.
