A Tulsa woman and her granddaughter are alive after fire breaks out in their home early Tuesday morning. It happened around 2:40 a.m. near 28th and North Garrison.
The woman crawled out a window to safety with the girl, but the family dog died. Damage is estimated at $50,000.
The home did not have a smoke detector.
It's believed a space heater in the living room may have started the fire.
