There is good news about discount prescription drugs in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Pharmacy Board has approved Wal-Mart's $4 generic prescription drug program. Several pharmacies filed complaints about the program, saying Wal-Mart was selling generic drugs below cost, violating state law.

The board's director says his informal inquiry found the program is within the law.
