A man faces felony vandalism charges after Tulsa Police found him in a damaged office building early Thursday morning. A security company reported seeing the man around a dumpster at the 3000 Center on East Skelly. About that same time, an alarm was tripped inside the building.
A Tulsa Police dog found 23-year-old James Russell hiding inside the building. He was wearing only his underwear and a coat. His pants and shoes were found in another part of the building. He was taken to the hospital because of the cuts he had received on his feet from broken glass.
Tulsa Police found damage throughout the first and second floors of the building, including blood on the carpet. They say there could be as much as $100,000 in damage. Tulsa Police believe Russell may have been under the influence of something.
