STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma State Basketball Memorial will be open to the public Friday and Saturday for the sixth anniversary of the plane crash that claimed the lives of 10 men associated with the program.
The victims were returning from the Cowboys' basketball game at the University of Colorado on Jan. 27th, 2001, when their plane went down in a snow storm east of Denver.
The memorial will be open for the public to visit, leave tributes, express their thoughts or simply reflect on the lives of those who were lost.
The anniversary falls on the date of a home basketball game for the Cowboys' men's and women's teams. The memorial will be open all day Friday. On Saturday, doors open at 10 am and remain open through the Baylor-Oklahoma State women's game.
