A two car accident about 11 pm Tuesday leaves a woman fighting for her life. It happened near 58th Street and State highway 97.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the driver of a pickup truck hit the back of another vehicle, knocking it off the road. No one in the car was hurt. But the pickup truck rolled and Shantell Denise Parnell, age 38 of Sapulpa, was ejected from the truck. She was taken to a Tulsal hospital and was listed in critical condition.
About 11:45 pm Tuesday, Jennifer Lea Evans, age 31 of Beggs, was critically injured in another accident. This accident happened near Kellyville.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers, Evans was southbound on Slick Road when she ran off the road, lost control and rolled her car twice. Evans was thrown from the vehicle. She was also taken to a Tulsa hospital and is listed in serious condition.
In Tulsa, the driver of a Camero lost control and hit a tree just after 1 am Wednesday, cutting the car in half. According to Tulsa Police, the accident happened near 15th and Peoria.
Only one person was in the car, he was taken to the hospital in critical condition. His name has not been released.
