The cause of a fire at a McAlester business remains under investigation. Fire officials say the blaze last Thursday at Diversified Foods destroyed the building.

At this point, McAlester Fire Chief Harold Stewart says the cause is listed as â€˜undetermined.â€™ Stewart says they have some ideas, but further investigation is needed. Officials with Diversified Foods, toured the plant on Monday and they announced it is their intention to rebuild the plant.

The plant employed 54 workers.
