NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Michael Neal scores 20 points and Nate Carter adds 19 to lead Oklahoma to a 70-to-53 victory over Nebraska.
Neal connected on six 3-pointers, including one with 39 seconds left in the first half last night that gave the Sooners a 30-to-26 halftime lead.
OU carried the momentum into the second half, during which the Sooners never relinquished the lead. OU eventually used a 16-to-3 run sparked by Carter to build a 54-to-37 advantage with 10:50 left.
Nebraska got no closer than 14 points the rest of the way. Marcus Perry had four 3-pointers and led the Cornhuskers with 14 points.
OU outrebounded Nebraska 37-to-21 despite playing without suspended starting center Longar Longar.
OU moves to 10-and-6 overall and 2-and-2 in Big 12 Conference play while Nebraska falls to 11-and-5 and 0-and-2.
