HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Mark Dorris scores 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Marshall to a 65-to-53 victory over Tulsa Wednesday night.

Marshall moves to 6-and-11 overall and 1-and-3 in Conference USA while ending a 3-game losing streak.

Tulsa is 12-and-4 and 2-and-1 after the Golden Hurricane saw their 3-game winning streak snapped.

Jamal McLean scored 12 points and Rod Earls and Ben Uzoh each added 10 for TU.

Marshall held a double-digit lead for the majority of the second half before Tulsa cut the deficit to six with 5:50 left on a basket by Uzoh.

However, that was Tulsa's only field goal during an eight-minute span and Marshall scored seven straight points to push its lead to 13.
