DEL CITY, Okla. (AP) -- School officials at the Mid-Del Christian School in Del City are thankful the school was unoccupied when the roof to the gymnasium collapsed.
Officials say the weight of the ice and precipitation from this weekend's storms caused the roof to collapse Sunday afternoon.
Football coach Shane Sanders says about 75 percent of the metal building collapsed and that the foundation remains unstable.
He says arrangements are being made on where the school's 250 students will resume classes Tuesday.
