Tulsa Police, the Tulsa Sheriff's deputies and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol all got involved in the case of a stolen car overnight.
About 3 AM Wednesday, the owner left the car running as they went into the Quik Trip at 31st and US highway 169. That's when someone stole the vehicle.
About thirty minutes later, deputies, the OHP and the Turley Fire Department responded to a car accident at 7400 North Trenton about 45 minutes later. The car had left the road; hit a mail box, telephone connection box, gas meter, fence, metal trash container and another fence before coming to a stop.
No one was found in the car.
No word yet if the car's owner is now responsible for the damages.
