PROVO, Utah (AP) Keena Young's 21 points and 16 rebounds leads Brigham Young to a 72-62 victory over Oral Roberts Friday night in the BYU Holiday Classic.

The Cougars held ORU to 2-free throws in the final 2:46 while scoring 8 to seal the win.

BYU (9-4) struggled during the first 5-minutes of each half as it was outscored by Oral Roberts (6-7) 12-4 in the 1st-half and 16-2 in the 2nd. But the Cougars responded with a 14-0 run in the 1st and a 16-3 run in the 2nd.

Oral Roberts' second half run was sparked by 8 of Ken Tutt's 24 points and gave the Golden Eagles a 10 point lead at 39-49 with 15:08 remaining.

Young scored 9 consecutive points for the Cougars during their 16-2 run, including a basket with 9:57 remaining that gave BYU its first lead since the first minute of the 2nd half.

Caleb Green was controlling the inside game for the Golden Eagles' with 21 points and 13 rebounds, but he only played 11 minutes in the 2nd half before fouling out with 4:39 remaining.

BYU dominated the rebounding battle with a 53-30 advantage, including 19 on the offensive boards. Trent Plaisted and Lee Cummard had 11 and 9 rebounds, respectively.

The win pushes BYU's home winning streak to 22 games.

Friday was the second day of the three-day round-robin tournament hosted by Brigham Young in Provo, Utah.
