ATWOOD, Okla. (AP) -- A one-car crash early Friday morning in southwestern Hughes County has left one man dead.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Darrin King of Atwood was killed about 12:15 in the accident on a county road just south of Atwood.

Troopers say King was northbound when his car went off the roadway and hit a bridge abutment then rolled onto its top.
