PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Zach Randolph had 26 points and 11 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the short-handed New Orleans Hornets 100-to-85.

The Blazers grabbed a 73-to-55 lead in the third quarter of last night's game when Jarrett Jack passed to Brandon Roy for a dunk. Portland outscored the Hornets 26-to-14 in the third to take an 80-to-60 lead into the final period.

The Hornets were without Chris Paul, who sprained his ankle last night in the first quarter of a 102-to-94 loss at Seattle.

Last season's rookie of the year is out indefinitely. He was averaging 18-point-4 points and nine assists per game.

The team was already without Bobby Jackson with a cracked rib, David West with an injured elbow and Peja Stojakovic with an injured back.

The Hornets have lost 14 of their last 17 games.
