A Tulsa man awoke Monday morning to find his home up in flames.

Firefighters were called to a home at 13th and 101st East Avenue just after 1 AM Monday. Nearby construction made it difficult for firefighters to get to the scene, but after an hour and a half they had the blaze under control.

No one was hurt. The man inside escaped the flames.

The fire caused around $250,000 in damage. Red Cross was called to scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Tulsa Fire investigators believe the fire may have started in an add-on to the house.
