OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The injury-riddled New Orleans Hornets today signed free agent guard Devin Brown for depth at both the shooting guard and small forward spots.

Brown is a four-year NBA veteran and has played with Denver, San Antonio and Utah. He was a member of San Antonio's NBA championship team in 2005.

He played in 81 games and averaged 7.5 points with Utah last season and was traded to Golden State during the summer but released by the Warriors during training camp.

The Hornets have struggled with injuries to Peja Stojakovic, David West and Bobby Jackson.
