OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An administrative law judge says a former employee of the state agency that enforces alcohol laws should be reinstated to his job and receive back pay.

In a final ruling for the Merit Protection Commission, Judge -P- Kay Floyd said there wasn't sufficient evidence to prove any of the allegations the Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission made in firing long-time special agent Mike Easley.

The agency accused Easley of using a company vehicle to drive to a second job teaching at Bacone College in Muskogee while he was supposed to be doing work for the ABLE Commission.

Floyd said there was only enough evidence to support the allegation that Easley improperly used an emergency light on his truck to get through slow traffic on the Muskogee Turnpike.

He was issued a warning.

ABLE director Keith Burt couldn't be reached for comment.
