STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Officials have put off a court hearing on whether Oklahoma State University can acquire the last piece of property it needs for an athletic village.

Thursday's hearing was postponed until January after an attorney for the landowner sought to have the judge disqualified.

Holdout homeowner Kevin McCloskey says the university has no authority to force him to sell his land. He says the university's governing body, the Board of Regents, hasn't abided by a long-forgotten requirement that at least five of its eight members be farmers.

OSU offered McCloskey $62,000 for his home -- more than twice what he paid for it.

Oilman alumnus T. Boone Pickens has donated $165-million for the planned $316-million complex.
