Kindergarteners from Emerson Elementary School in Tulsa are fighting back against the Grinch this holiday season.
The kids are donating money to prevent the greedy grouch from stealing Christmas. His heart may be two sizes too small but with every penny the Grinch's heart gets bigger. And that means more presents for needy families.
Jennifer Thornton: "I think that it teaches the kids that even if they only bring in 50 cents, you know or 10 cents or a penny. That throughout the classroom, throughout the grade, they all put it together it can help out a family.â€
So far the Grinch's heart is 30 times its normal size; the kids have managed to raise $30.
