PURCELL, Okla. (AP) _ The next hearing for the man charged with killing a 10-year-old Purcell girl as part of a cannibalistic plot is now set for next Thursday.

The hearing in McClain County District Court is a status conference in the first-degree murder trial of Kevin Ray Underwood. It was originally scheduled for last Thursday but was postponed because of the winter storm.

Underwood is charged with killing 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin in April.
