The University of Tulsa women’s basketball team fell to 3-5 after a 66-55 loss to Stephen F. Austin Tuesday night.
Senior and All-America candidate Jillian Robbins led Tulsa with 13 points and 17 rebounds, her 52nd double-double. Robbins also posted 5 steals and 2 blocks.
In the 1st half the Ladyjacks were on fire, SFA went on a 20-0 run holding Tulsa scoreless for over 9-minutes. Coming out of the locker room the Golden Hurricane battled back outscoring the Ladyjacks 38-27 in the 2nd half. TU pulled within 11, but the deficit was too great, and time ran out.
The Hurricane return to Tulsa on Saturday, they’ll play Missouri State at 3 p.m. December 9th.
