EDMOND, Okla. (AP) Senior quarterback Levi Richardson rushes 16 times for 254 yards and scored three touchdowns, leading Claremore Sequoyah to a 32-3 rout of Marlow in the Class 3-A high school football title game at Wantland Stadium.
Sequoyah finished 14-0 and won the school's first state football title.
Richardson executed the Eagles' wing-T offense nearly flawlessly last night, scoring on touchdown runs of 15, 70 and 38 yards.
The Eagles, who drove 99 yards for a touchdown on their first possession, scored less than 32 points in only one game this season.
Marlow, which finished 11-3, committed six turnovers in the second half.
Sequoyah linebacker Will Radley had two interceptions and a fumble recovery during a 3:05 span in the fourth quarter, and returned one of the interceptions 42 yards for a touchdown that made it 25-3 with 7:03 left.
Marlow's only points came on a 39-yard field goal by Caleb Wortham.
