IRVING, Texas (AP) _ Oklahoma State guard JamesOn Curry is the Big 12 Conference player of the week after averaging nearly 30 points per game in two Cowboys wins last week.

Curry had a career-high 35 points as OSU beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi then scored 24 in a win over Pepperdine.

He was also a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line and had three rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

The conference rookie of the week is Stefhon Hannah of Missouri.
