NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Three horses seized during an animal cruelty investigation in August and two others found running free will be sold at auction in Norman.

The three seized horses have been nursed back to health and include a paint stallion and a paint mare that are each about two-and-a-half years old. The third is an Appaloosa gelding about 12 years old.

The two found running free include a 6-year-old sorrel stallion and a sorrel mare that's about 20 and may be pregnant.

The five will be auctioned Tuesday morning at the Norman Animal Welfare Center starting at 10:30.
