OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ When Oklahoma and Nebraska play for the Big 12 championship Saturday it'll be the first time the Sooners and Cornhuskers have met in the title game.

The two teams have played in seven of the ten conference championship games since the league formed in 1996 _ but never against each other.

OU and Nebraska have played 82 times in the past with the Sooners leading the all-time series 42-to-37 with three ties.
