SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (AP) Oklahoma State captured the South Padre Island Invitational championship Saturday with a 73-70 overtime victory against Missouri State.

Mario Boggan scored 4 of Oklahoma State's 11 points in the extra period. He put the Cowboys (7-0) ahead for good on a layup after a rebound early in overtime.

Missouri State (4-1) was coming off an upset of 7th-ranked Wisconsin in the semifinals Friday. It forced overtime on a basket with 1.98 seconds left in regulation.
