STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A fire at an apartment complex in Stillwater destroyed or damaged up to a dozen units, including some where Oklahoma State University students lived.
But Stillwater Assistant Fire Chief Tom Bradley says the fire at the Apple Creek Apartments caused no injuries.
Bradley says the fire started about 1 PM Tuesday. He says firefighters used four fire engines and a ladder truck to help extinguish the blaze.
News video showed a burned-out apartment building and some flames. Winds speeds were about 20 miles per hour in the area.
Jennifer Kane, an assistant manager at a nearby apartment complex, says the Apple Creek Apartments usually were full of OSU students.
