One of Oklahoma's rising stars makes a sweep through the state.
Carrie Underwood packed the house in Oklahoma City, Saturday night, singing along with Brad Paisley.
She’s made a trip up the turnpike; Oklahoma's idol takes the stage in Tulsa, Sunday night.
But before she sings, she sat down to talk with News on 6 reporter Joshua Brakhage.
This isn't just any concert for Carrie. It's a sold-out crowd, with lots of familiar faces in the audience.
"So my family are here, a lot of my friends are here, a lot of aunts and uncles, who I don't know, some of them might never have seen me before live, so it's going to be pretty nerve-wracking," Underwood said.
Carrie's latest single is on its third week at number one on the country charts. Her CD has gone platinum four times. She plans on getting back to work on a new album after Christmas.
Carrie's single and says guys are intimidated by her. She also says she's not used to being a celebrity, the gossip and rumors, the personal questions, and rubbing elbows with the stars.
"All the celebrities that I've always looked up to, I don't feel like I belong, but I get to hang out with them and it's just cool," Carrie said.
