Five people are in custody, involved with crimes related to smuggling drugs and contraband into the Tulsa County jail.
Among those are two employees and two former inmates. The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says nurse Misty Lifford and former inmate Chester Alexander [top picture] were arrested while in the process of obtaining illegal drugs and contraband intended to be taken inside the jail.
In a separate investigation, security guard Eric Jones, former inmate Keith Brown and his brother, Douglas Brown [bottom picture] were also arrested. Jones was arrested while on duty. The two brothers were arrested in sting operation in the jail's parking lot.
All five face felony charges and are being held on bonds ranging from more than $32,000 to more than $40,000.
