Tulsa kicked off a yearlong centennial celebration with a very special tribute.

The Tulsa Historical Society held a statehood celebration Thursday. A big highlight of the event, was the induction of two new members of Oklahoma's Centenarian Club, Arnold Richardson from Miami and Mary Pace from Barnsdall.

The centenarians also shared words of wisdom for the crowd.
