CHICAGO (AP) _ Oklahoma State senior Victor DeGrate is one of 27 players on the midseason watch list for the Ted Hendricks Award, which is presented annually to the best defensive end in college football.
Four other Big 12 Conference players also are on the list _ Ian Campbell of Kansas State, Tim Crowder of Texas, Keyunta Dawson of Texas Tech and Jay Moore of Nebraska.
The list will be reduced to as many as six finalists, whose names will be announced November 27th. The award winner will be announced on December 5th.
Last year's winner was Elvis Dumervil of Louisville.
