A contractor working near 3rd and Boston hit a natural gas line with a backhoe Monday morning.
The break caused some of the gas to be released. Tulsa Fire HazMat crews took readings inside nearby buildings, but no one was evacuated.
Fire officials say a breeze in the area helped disperse the gas. No one was injured and ONG was able to shut off the gas flow.
