One man's obsession has ballooned into a holiday attraction that draws thousands from all over Green Country.

Now, the self-titled King of Inflatables is getting national attention.

News on 6 Reporter Ashli Sims gives us a first look at Christmas Kingdom even before it's cable television debut.

After Halloween, the Castle of Muskogee used to be dormant, until the Inflatable King had an idea. â€œLet me bring out all my Inflatables, let people drive through them. I've outgrown my house I need some more space," said Jason Jones the Inflatables King.

Two years ago Jones piled his collection of inflatables in his front yard. 130 in all, some spilling over into his neighbor's yard. â€œThat is my dream come true. A block full of inflatables," Jones said.

The Castle has given Jones a showcase far beyond his wildest dreams. More than half a mile, crammed full of glowing, blinking, snowing and spinning inflatables. About 500 are up, another 500 are coming.

Now two cable television networks, Dish TV and HGTV want to show the Christmas Kingdom to a national audience. â€œHey, I love it, the more people to view the great park," said Jones.

You could say Jason Jones obsession has snowballed. With more than 100 snowmen alone, he thinks itâ€™s big enough to go down in the record books. "We're gonna send in all the paperwork for even the Guinness book,â€ said the Inflatables King.

Before Guinness book, Jones and his crew have to get more than 1,000 inflatables blown up and tied down. And the Oklahoma winds are not cooperating, unleashing a carousel on an unsuspecting photographer. Then there's the matter of the electric bill. â€œIt will all be worth it that first night, on Thanksgiving night, when that first car drives through and you hear the kids reaction and the adults reaction of seeing everything out here," Jones said.

Jason Jones says they're already running low on power, and the display is only half-finished.

Last year, the electric bill totaled $3,000 and Jones expects it to triple this year.

Christmas Kingdom at the Castle of Muskogee is free and open to the public starting Thanksgiving night.
