STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ JamesOn Curry scored 23 points and Terrel Harris added 22 as Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma Baptist 99-55 in an exhibition game at Gallagher-Iba Arena Tuesday night.
The Cowboys put the game away early, surging to an 18-0 lead in the first 3:30.
Oklahoma State held its opponent without a field goal for the first 5:50, and forced 15 first-half turnovers, displaying intensity on defense that was lacking in its exhibition opener on Friday, an 84-67 win over Pittsburg State.
After the lopsided start, Oklahoma Baptist played the Cowboys even but still trailed 46-28 at halftime.
Curry, a junior guard, was 3-for-4 from three-point range and scored 13 points in the decisive first half. Harris, a sophomore guard, scored 16 of his points in the second half.
Mario Boggan added 18 points, David Monds had 11 and Kenny Cooper added 10 for the Cowboys.
Julius Hurd led Oklahoma Baptist with 15 points, Mike Fraser scored 13 and Tre Griffin added 10.
It was the last tune-up for Oklahoma State before its regular season begins on Friday at home against Florida Atlantic.
